Title: Executive AssociateGeneral Purpose: Perform Project Management and/or Project Control activities and deliver required output in accordance with project requirements.Reports to: VP of M& C Consulting or VP of Project ResourcesDirect reports: N/AAccountability: Where applicable, directs and oversees junior or subordinate staff members Responsibilities:Perform Project Management and/or Project Control activities including cost estimate, planning, scheduling, and risk assessment activities and deliver required output in accordance with project requirements.Perform resource planning and allocation by setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities to the assigned job teams, and monitoring and summarizing job progress.Perform project assurance activities including Gate Reviews, VIPs, and Independent Project Reviews (IPRs).Responsible for defining methodologies and tools to be applied to each job associated with the assigned Focus AreaFollow client methodology to ensure procedure and project requirement compliance.Coordinate the development and update of Project Control ToolsParticipate in the effort of continue improving of Report TemplateSupport training on Project Management and/or Project Control, assurance, and other areas of expertiseCollaborate with leadership to align the team’s development backlog priority as per the project timelines and business priorities.Support the development and update project management standards, practices, and methodologies. Actively monitor and assess the changing framework conditions and resource availability and find solutions for resource management.Forecast cost, progress, performance, and schedule trends to provide client / project management with information for decision making.Performs other duties as required.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in related field required, Master’s degree preferred.12-20 years of experience in Project Management and/or Project ControlProven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and the ability to manage a project and its components simultaneously with minimal supervisionExpert in SME Focus areas: Assurance (IPRs, Gate Reviews), Project Controls (Cost, Schedule, Risk), Modularization and Commissioning and Start-UpQualifications and/or experience in Microsoft Project Online, MS Project Scheduling and dashboard reporting such as Power BI (desirable) or similar Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project with project teams of 5 to 25 peopleExcellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentationsCompetencies:Proven ability to work independently with a high level of strategic thinking, business acumen and problem-solving skills and experience in providing leadership of a small team.Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planningDiplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the businessAbility to effectively prioritize workloads and manage competing deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective and robust working relationships with senior management, operational staff, and ClientsAbility in creating and maintaining project and plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependenciesComply with workplace safety policies and Code of Conduct Physical requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.Ability to travel as needed domestically or internationally.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
