Custodial Worker (LRAFB)

SUMMARY

Keeps offices, restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairways, docks, courtrooms, and administrative areas in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

MONDAY-FRIDAY, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE; 7:30AM-1:00PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes and polishes floors and cleans carpets.
2. Cleans and disinfects offices, hallways, entries/exits, lounges, classrooms, and other work areas.
3. Empties wastebaskets, trash cans, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
4. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
5. Replenishes restroom supplies.
6. Cleans and disinfects restroom walls, doors, partitions, lavatories, showers, mirrors, and other fixtures.
7. Performs high and low dusting.
8. Cleans glass, doors, trim, and threshold. Cleans and polishes metal and wood.
9. Keeps equipment clean and stored properly.
10. Empties and disinfects diaper pails.
11. Helps assure security of area.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS APPLICABLE BACKGROUND CHECKS AND DRUG SCREEN.  ANY OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT WILL BE BASED ON THE RESULTS OF BACKGROUND CHECKS AND DRUG SCREEN.
