Duties & Responsibilities
Help maintain the beauty, safety, and function of our expansive resort grounds by:
- Maintaining walkways, parking areas, and landscaping to ensure safe passage for guests and staff.
- Assisting with courier services and completing grounds-keeping tasks.
- Providing snow removal and plowing (experience is a plus).
- Typical Hours: 7am–3pm
- Snowstorms: Mandatory overtime during snowstorms, including nights and weekends, until all areas are cleared.
- Pay: Based on experience
Daily responsibilities include:
- Mowing lawns, weed-whacking, planting, mulching, and watering.
- Keeping grounds pristine by picking up litter and removing debris or snow.
- Supporting projects by hauling materials for employees or guests.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by following all procedures and safety guidelines.
- Staying current by participating in training or reviewing technical publications.
- Enhancing the department by taking initiative and assisting with new or unique requests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Equipment operation and maintenance skills
- Strong time-management abilities
- Initiative and reliability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate important updates to others
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving history
- Snow-plowing experience preferred
