What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor of Early Childhood position at Paterson Public School District?
Qualifications:
- Hold a NJ Supervisor Certification
- Hold a Masters degree from an accredited institution (College or University)
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years experience in preschool; at least five years in teaching preschool
- Valid NJ P-3 or N-8 certification
- Strong understanding of the Creative Curriculum for Preschool
- Experience providing professional development activities (early childhood preferred)
- Knowledge and experience with early childhood programs and developmentally appropriate best practices
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents and community
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to work within a team setting
