Special Education Medicaid Compliance Coordinator

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Special Education programs, including knowledge of IDEA compliance, IEP processes, evaluations, and related services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Special Education Medicaid Initiative (SEMI), Medicaid reimbursement processes, or similar state/federal compliance and funding programs.
• Strong experience with data management systems, NJSLEDS, SID Management,  advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, reporting systems, and electronic record management.
• Experience preparing documentation for audits, grants, compliance monitoring, and state or federal reporting requirements.
• Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, contracts, and compliance-related activities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, presentations, correspondence, and communicating with administrators, schools, and external agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement procedures that improve operational efficiency, compliance, and accountability.
• Must have knowledge of Special Education programs and supports as outlined in N.J.A.C. Title 6A:14.
