Job Description:
Patel’s Cigar Lounge & Spirits is the newest addition to the rapidly expanding Bridge Street, in the heart of Grand Rapids.
Due to its newness, our Retail Specialists will be the welcoming spirit that guides the energy through the building. This means that how you function in your role is critical to our team and guests.
But we know this, and that’s why we’re constantly empowering you in the background, in every way we can to make your job as smooth and frictionless as possible. We place trust in our people to use their intuition and work through each mission as a team.
Here are some of the things that you’ll be trusted to do:
- Respect - Treat the Guests’ and team with respect always.
- Read Guests like a book - Always aware of our surroundings, we’re able to snuff out any dissatisfaction before it arises.
- Communicate as a team - The constant flow of good information ensures that everyone is on the same page.
- Make your best effort everyday - If we all make this our focus, greatness will ensue.
- Know the Humidor - PCL has an extensive bar and two stocked humidors. Always keep up with changes to the humidor. Be the subject matter expert on all things cigar related and possess the ability to answer questions and satisfy requests.
- POS - You will have an excellent working knowledge of the point of sales software and hardware. You can seamlessly transition between tabs and complex orders. You know how to enter items into the system to keep an accurate inventory.
