Production Supervisor

As our next Production Supervisor, at our Grandview, MO facility, you will lead and direct manufacturing employees in all aspects of the production environment. This position reports to the Production Manager.
Shift Requirement: 12-hour shift, 6 months on days, 6 months on nights, includes weekends.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field, preferred or equivalent experience.
Knowledge
- Minimum of five (5) years working in a fast-paced high volume manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ Supervisory experience in a union environment is required.
- Experience in the food and/or beverage ingredient manufacturing industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and direct manufacturing employees in all aspects of the production environment.
- Maintain efficiency standards and work towards continuous improvement in all areas of the production operation.
- Manage the Continuous Improvement Program in direct area of responsibility, safety practices, housekeeping, employee time management and payroll records, accuracy of inventory transactions and cost control.
- Perform various plant processes including: LOTO, batch making, permits, troubleshooting, etc.
- Manage the TPM program in direct area of responsibility, safety practices, housekeeping, employee time management and payroll records, accuracy of inventory transactions and cost control.
- Maintain a positive, clean and safe work environment for all employees.
- Review relevant documentation for adequacy in regard to established quality system.
