We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their purchases. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and effectively communicate product benefits will be key to driving sales and enhancing the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell products based on customer needs.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain stock levels, ensuring shelves are well-organized and replenished as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Stay informed about current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively sell merchandise.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales.
• Strong upselling skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is essential.
• Bilingual candidates are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor to foster customer relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when needed.
• Must have knowledge in plumbing, hardware, and or electrical.
• Must have the ability to lift 50lbs.
