What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSE Chairperson position at Patchogue-Medford School District?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct CSE/CPSE and 504 meetings and complete all associated paperwork
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Facilitate team meetings
- Supervise and evaluate special education staff
- Other tasks as assigned by supervising administrators

Job Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must possess valid NYS School District Administrator (SDA) Certification
- Prior experience as a special education teacher, speech teacher, school social worker, psychologist or special education administrator
- Must be familiar with Part 200 Regulations for CSE/CPSE, Transition Services, and Commencement Credentials
