Position Title: Laundry Aide
Summary: Patapsco Health is looking for someone energetic to fill a laundry aide role in a skilled nursing facility setting.Our ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards. Duties may include, but not limited to:
- Gather and transport soiled laundry from all buildings to the laundry facility
- Wash and dry laundry
- Fold all clean laundry and distribute to residents
- Keep accurate records of linens
- Notify management of any issues with equipment
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Familiarity with efficient washing methods
- Proficiency with laundering equipment and tools
- Hardworking and efficient
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Physical Requirements:Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a minimum height of three (3) feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty (50) feet. (Not a complete list)
Preferred Skills: Environmental Serviceexperience in a long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
