What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Softball Coach position at Patagonia Public Schools?
Job summary:
- To provide leadership, supervision, and organization to facilitate the sports program
- To prepare the team for best probability of being successful
- To place sportsmanship and the lessons of sport above “winning at all costs”
- To insure the health, safety and academic success of students at all times
Must be willing to:
- Build off-season program
- Be prepared for practice and games
- Prepare athletes for game success
- Teach proper sports technique
- Supervise locker rooms before and after practice and games
- Supervise players on the bus and away games
- The head coach will train and supervise all assistant coaches
