Compensation Analyst (Payroll-Focused) | South Florida | Up to $120K Bonus
We are partnering with a large, publicly traded company headquartered in South Florida to identify a Compensation Analyst to join their growing HR team. Position Overview
The Compensation Analyst will support both payroll operations and compensation functions, working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and leadership. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, while also contributing to compensation reporting, analysis, and program support.
This is a highly detail-oriented, data-driven role requiring strong technical skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compliance
- Process and support multi-state payroll, with exposure to international payroll preferred (not required)
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and international regulations
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timely processing
- Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting
Compensation Analysis & Reporting
- Support the development and maintenance of compensation structures and salary bands
- Assist with market benchmarking, compensation surveys, and internal equity analysis
- Prepare and analyze compensation reports, dashboards, and workforce data
- Work closely with HR leadership on compensation planning cycles, including merit and bonus processes
Data Management & Systems
- Utilize Excel heavily for data manipulation, reporting, and analysis (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Maintain and audit data within HRIS and payroll systems
- Ensure data integrity across compensation and payroll platforms
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders on compensation-related inquiries
- Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Assist with special projects within HR and Total Rewards
Qualifications
- Experience in payroll processing (required)
- Exposure to international payroll is a plus, but not required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, etc.)
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Interest in growing into a compensation-focused role within HR
