Responsibilities
As the firm's senior litigation paralegal, you will play a critical role supporting complex litigation from case inception through trial.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing all phases of complex commercial litigation
- Coordinating discovery and e-discovery
- Preparing for depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trial
- Managing exhibits, witness files, trial notebooks, and document productions
- Drafting, proofreading, Bluebooking, and cite-checking legal filings
- Electronic filing in federal and state courts (CM/ECF)
- Conducting legal and factual research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and related litigation resources
- Calculating litigation deadlines and managing case calendars
- Mentoring and assisting a junior litigation paralegal
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should possess:
- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Experience handling complex commercial litigation through trial
- Extensive discovery and trial preparation experience
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
- Experience with CM/ECF, PACER, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Relativity, Logikcull, or similar litigation support platforms
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred
Experience supporting complex commercial litigation, white-collar defense, government investigations, or federal regulatory matters is highly preferred.
