Service Manager – Automotive Repair Shop
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to oversee daily shop operations, lead the team, and ensure a strong customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who understands automotive service, leads with confidence, and knows how to balance people, process, and performance.
What You’ll Do
Customer Experience & Sales
- Serve as the main point of contact between the shop and our customers
- Greet customers, listen to concerns, and provide clear, accurate repair estimates
- Recommend maintenance and repair services in a professional and transparent manner
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure issues are resolved efficiently
- Build strong relationships that encourage repeat business and customer trust
Shop Operations
- Oversee daily workflow, scheduling, and job allocation
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed correctly and on time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Review work orders, invoices, and reports for accuracy
Operations & Performance
- Manage parts ordering, inventory levels, and vendor relationships
- Track daily sales, labor hours, and shop performance
- Monitor key metrics and work toward operational goals
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and support service advisors and front-office staff
- Motivate the team to meet performance and customer service expectations
- Support training and ongoing development
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Promote a positive, accountable, team-focused culture
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor
- Strong understanding of automotive repair operations
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (not required, but a plus)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,300.00 - $2,000.00 per week
