Pastor’s Heart is a growing faith-based counseling platform connecting individuals, families, teens, and corporate partners with trusted pastoral counselors and chaplains. As we scale, we’re looking for a technically skilled person to help manage, maintain, and improve our digital systems.
Role Overview
We need a part-time Technical Systems Manager who can keep our WordPress-based platform running smoothly, support counselors and clients when issues arise, and maintain the automations and integrations that power our scheduling and onboarding systems.
This is NOT a heavy coding role. It’s ideal for someone who understands WordPress, plugins, dashboards, automations, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update our WordPress website
- Manage key plugins (MemberPress, Elementor, Fluent Forms, Amelia, etc.)
- Monitor dashboards, booking systems, and client/counselor portals
- Fix login, scheduling, and form issues
- Maintain automations (Make.com, Zapier, email flows)
- Keep calendars, reminders, and session links functioning properly
- Perform routine site checks, backups, and plugin updates
- Troubleshoot issues quickly for counselors and clients
- Ensure data flows correctly into Google Sheets or Airtable
- Monitor system health and resolve errors as they arise
Required Skills
- Experience with WordPress administration
- Comfortable with Elementor, MemberPress, and form builders
- Understanding of Make.com or similar automation tools
- Ability to troubleshoot site issues quickly
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Organized and able to work independently
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with Amelia or other scheduling platforms
- Familiarity with HIPAA-friendly practices
- Comfort with light UI/UX improvements
- Ability to document processes
