What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker / Cake Decorator position at Pastiche Fine Desserts?
We are hiring for a baking position starting mid-August. We are looking for a dependable, motivated, individual with experience in the field.
Duties: The job includes all types of scratch baking and assembly. We do not use mixes or pre-made fillings. Must be familiar with scaling and basic bake shop equipment. Some duties - assembling tarts, finishing cakes, shaping dough.
Hours: Shifts are approximately 6am-2:30pm. Weekend availability required.
Requirements: Candidates must have schooling in pastry or baking experience in a work place environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and able to stand for 6 hours.
