As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel Medicine, you will support the delivery of vaccinations and travel health services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider, in accordance with state regulations and standing orders.
- Administer vaccines in accordance with standing orders and applicable state scope of practice
- Observe patients for adverse reactions and report concerns as appropriate
- Reinforce travel health education
- Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring patient safety
- Participate in ongoing travel medicine training and company education
- Promote travel health products and medications to enhance client safety
- Assist with clinic setup, organization, inventory management, and compliance with safety protocols
- Travel to local onsite events (e.g., corporate wellness or vaccine clinics) as needed
- Location(s): Birmingham, AL
- Compensation: $28.00–$30.00/hr
- Employment Type: Part-time / 24 hours weekly; Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation required

Work Environment
- Lower daily appointment volume with increased focus on patient education
- May involve single-nurse clinic coverage depending on state regulations and clinic needs
- Variable hours based on client demand
- Schedule may fluctuate week to week
- Are comfortable working independently within scope
- Enjoy longer, consultative patient interactions
- Are flexible and adaptable
- Active LPN/LVN license in good standing
- Ability to work within LPN scope under RN/provider oversight (per state regulations)
- 1–2 year of clinical experience (immunization or ambulatory care preferred)
- Access to a personal computer (training systems are not compatible with phones or tablets)
- Strong computer skills (Google Suite: Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet)
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Strong communication skills and a passion for patient education
- Ability to lift and transport vaccine inventory as needed
