This position is fun and rewarding as you get to enjoy the outdoors, get exercise and be loved by amazing local dogs, cats and other companion animals!Midday Dog Walker Responsibilities:Enter the homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (usually 15 - 30 minutes each)Walk pets as requestedFeed pets as requested Check that pets have ample, clean water supply and refill as necessaryPatrol homes for accidents or damage caused by pets in the absence of their ownersClean any accidents or damage discovered in homes of our clientsCommunicate with Management Midday Dog Walker Requirements and Qualifications:Northern VA residence within 5 miles of 22301 is preferredMust be available for a minimum of 2 hours between 10AM & 3PM Monday-FridayMust have your own, reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this roleMust have your own reliable Smart Phone with internet access and data planMust be extremely detail orientedAble to follow detailed instructionsMust be responsible, reliable, and dependableMust be timely and punctual Must be able to self-manage Possess excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be compassionate about animalsMust feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animalsMust be willing to walk and drive in all weather conditionsMust be able to make at least a 6 month commitment, however longer is preferredMust be able to pass criminal background checkStay active in the outdoors with a flexible schedule. Compensation is $24-28/hour plus tips, paid on a per visit basis.LBGTQ and POC encouraged to applyThis is a Part Time SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME position.
