Role Description The Caregiver is a full-time, on-site role based in Charleston County, SC, providing direct in-home support to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as well as helping with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices. The Caregiver supports clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands, and may accompany clients to appointments or community activities. The role also involves monitoring changes in clients’ condition, documenting care provided, and promptly communicating concerns to supervisors or family members. Caregivers are expected to foster a warm, respectful environment, encourage independence where possible, follow care plans and safety protocols, and collaborate with the broader care team.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide compassionate, client-centered personal care and support with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility).
- Experience with basic household tasks and organization, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
