FINANCE ADMINISTRATION RESIDENT

OBJECTIVE
To proactively learn, grow, and provide support to the Finance Team by executing administrative and accounting-related tasks as a team-oriented, kingdom-minded individual who models humility, determination, and accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend and actively participate in all Passion Residency Formations, team events, ALL SKATES, and blackout dates.
- Complete any and all Passion Residency curriculum, assignments, and tasks on time and with excellence.
- Work alongside the Finance Team to perform regularly scheduled accounting functions. This includes but is not limited to entry-level support for our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team members.
- Execute various administrative responsibilities including but not limited to mailing check payments, Donor care for First Time Givers, Vendor onboarding and account updates, scheduling meetings for the Finance team with other departments, updating Finance-related procedures, and communicating with staff members about Finance-related deadlines or changes.
- Learn to utilize expense and invoice management software for everyday transactions, refunds, event registrations, and transparent, meaningful reporting.
- Champion and represent the culture, vision, and theology of our House in every interaction, embodying excellent professionalism and fiscal responsibility.

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL
The ideal candidate loves spreadsheets, is organized, and is detail-oriented. They demonstrate aptitude for learning various accounting software. This person is proficient with Google Sheets and Excel. The ideal candidate recognizes the sensitive nature of financial data and operates with the utmost discretion and confidentiality. This person enjoys learning as well as teaching others how to use our accounting systems.
