What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate General Dentist position at Passion Dental?
Passion Dental dentists shall provide comprehensive clinical patient care that is reflective of quality and clinical excellence. These providers will deliver diagnoses, treatment, and disease management that aligns with the standard of care and ensures patient safety within their practice. Dentists will collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to effectively manage the daily operations of the dental office as well as deliver education to patients regarding their treatment options and improving and maintaining their oral health.
Dentist Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Dentists will deliver a range of dental services, including preventive, restorative, and surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards of care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Performing clinical examinations, prophylaxis, and diagnostic procedures.
· Diagnosing and developing treatment plans for patients based on clinical findings.
· Performing procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
· Administering anesthesia and managing patient comfort during procedures.
· Educating patients on preventive care, proper oral hygiene, and treatment options.
· Maintaining OSHA’s bloodborne pathogens standards as well as infection control practices aligned with the CDC’s Guidelines for Infection Control in the Dental Setting.
· Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with state dental board regulations.
Qualifications:
· Holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
· Active state-issued dental license.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
· Committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Pay: $195,000.00 - $234,000.00 per year
