Civil Project Engineer

• Passero Associates' Charlotte, NC Office has an excellent opportunity for a **Civil Project Engineer with 5 years' experience to work in our growing Charlotte, NC office on a diverse range of civil/site projects using the latest advancements in industry technology. Projects involve work with residential, commercial, municipal and institutional clients. At Passero Associates, we focus on working in a team environment, all while promoting individual responsibility. Passero Engineers have the opportunity to work on all aspects of project delivery from concept to construction closeout, including client interaction.
• Responsibilities:******
• Understand and create full sets of construction documents, including specifications
• Develop cost estimates
• Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to execute projects
• Provide construction administrative services
  
  

Qualifications/ Experience

• BS degree in Civil Engineering / Civil-related field
• 5 years' experience in site development
• Site, Highway, Drainage and Utility Design experience
• Water/wastewater experience a plus
• Experience in conducting board and client meetings for small- to moderate-sized projects, preferred
• Experienced in land use and municipal approvals
• Experienced in preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3-D
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Experienced in preparing project submissions and related documents/forms
• PE preferred
