What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty- Human Services Program- Fall 2026 position at Passaic County Community College?
We are seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach in the Human Services/Pre-Social Work Program. Courses are available in-person during the traditional 15-week semester. Classes meet one or two times a week during the morning, afternoon, and evening.
Examples of Duties:
- Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College's academic calendar and approved syllabi.
- Meet all scheduled class sessions.
- Maintain and report accurate student grade and attendance records using approved procedures and systems.
- Participate in assessment activities in support of the PCCC institutional effectiveness program.
- Utilize the appropriate technology, including the College's student learning platform, to fulfill teaching duties
Qualifications:
- Master of Social Work (MSW) required
- Two years of college-level teaching experience required; community college preferred
- Five years of Higher Education experience required
- Experience in distant learning modalities preferred
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate
Compensation: The pay for this position is $962 per credit taught.
