What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct- Business Statistics (Summer I 2026) position at Passaic County Community College?
We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach Business Statistics for our Summer 1 2026 session.
Example of Duties:
- Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College's academic calendar and approved syllabi
- Meet all scheduled class sessions
- Maintain and report accurate student grade and attendance records using approved procedures and systems
- Participate in assessment activities in support of the PCCC institutional effectiveness program
- Utilize the appropriate technology, including the College's student learning platform, to fulfill teaching duties
- Follow the following guidelines contained in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook (Link can be found on pccc.edu)
Qualification:
- MBA with knowledge of Business Statistics
- Concentrated areas to include Measures of Location, Measures of Variability, Probability, Estimation and Hypothesis Testing
- Knowledge with Blackboard
- Teach synchronous at the Paterson Location
- Experience teaching Business Statistics a plus
- Teach day class (5/27/2026 – 7/1/2026)
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Compensation: The pay for this position is $996 per credit taught.
