Psychiatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Come join the team at Passages Family Support as a psychiatric LPN. The Passages LPN will be a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of a nurse practitioner, therapist, and peer support specialist to provide outpatient services to clients who come to the Passages campus for services or those who reside in residential settings in the community. Passages has a full time opening in the Intensive Residential Treatment Program and a half-time opening in the General Outpatient/Wrap Around with Intensive Services programs.
Passages follows the Recovery Model of care which builds on each client’s strengths. As a member of the treatment team, you will be responsible for: initial nursing assessment, coordination of care with the nurse practitioner regarding lab ordering, pharmacy coordination including prior authorizations, review and dissemination of lab results, process medication orders and maintain accurate electronic records in the EHR, administering specific medications as required, and communicate with team members critical information received during your visit with the client.
Benefits include a competitive benefits package with employer-paid health insurance premium, a generous sign on bonus, and a 35 hour work week paid at 40 hours (Passages closes at noon every Friday). Mileage is reimbursed if assigned to the Intensive Residential Treatment Team and work schedules are flexible. Salary range is $30-32 per hour. Part-time (50%) FTE staff receive all benefits.
