We have Part-Time, Full-Time and Weekend openings at our busy pack-style outdoor dog boarding, daycare, and grooming facility. At Passage East, we believe the best care comes from happy employees and we’re actively seeking compassionate, driven individuals looking to bring their experience and knowledge to our team.
Duties
- Provide attentive care and supervision for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
- Engage with pet owners professionally, and clearly, to address questions or concerns about their pets’ well-being
- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary to ensure safety and efficiency
- Managing pack-style playgroups outdoors (in all seasons)
Experience
Candidates with the following experience are highly encouraged to apply:
- Dog training or behavior management experience
- Veterinary technician or assistant background
- Kennel or animal handling expertise
- Candidates should be comfortable performing physical tasks such as heavy lifting and be dedicated to providing compassionate animal care. Prior experience in boarding facilities, daycares, or animal shelters (especially in outdoor settings) will be considered advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
