Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned senior manager to oversee our accounting and finance operations in New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of all financial records and reporting, managing cash flows, developing efficient processes, and supervising accounting staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing, and account reconciliations
- Process improvement in areas of record-to-report, order-to-cash/pay, window with financial institutions, cash management, forecast, and financial cost control
- Handling issues relating to areas of responsibility with other departments or parent company based on direction from Sr. Controller
- Managing activities relating to Americas Area Finance, including consultation of financial matters for Group Companies in the Americas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory position
- Good understanding of accounting rules (IFRS & US GAAP)
- Experience in general accounting operations (posting, JE's, closing, reporting)
- Bilingual in Japanese required
- Operation of ERP system; experience in JD Edwards a plus
