Outside Sales Representative – Industrial / Technical Sales

Location: Remote / Home Office – Philadelphia, PA area

Must be able to visit the Philadelphia area approximately 1–2 times per week

Territory: East Coast (NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE)

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 base commission

Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Must Have Qualifications

• Technical background (e.g., Engineering degree) and/or technical sales experience
• Ability to understand and communicate technical products and solutions
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
• Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field
• Industrial, manufacturing, or technical sales experience
• Distributor / channel partner sales experience
• Experience with industrial automation, machinery, robotics, or related technical products

Position Summary

We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to support sales of industrial automation and technical products throughout the East Coast.

This position works closely with distributors and end users to develop customer relationships, promote technical solutions, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and end-user customers
• Conduct regular customer visits and sales calls throughout the territory
• Promote technical products and solutions based on customer needs
• Develop new business and increase market share
• Prepare and follow up on quotes and sales opportunities
• Track customer and sales activities using CRM
• Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight trips
