This role will focus on identifying construction-related hazards, implementing effective risk controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client-specific safety requirements throughout all phases of project execution.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting industrial construction projects involving mechanical systems, piping, electrical and instrumentation (E&I), equipment installation, and commissioning activities.

This role will focus on identifying construction-related hazards, implementing effective risk controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client-specific safety requirements throughout all phases of project execution.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting industrial construction projects involving mechanical systems, piping, electrical and instrumentation (E&I), equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Task Risk Assessments (TRA), and review construction method statements
- Identify hazards associated with industrial construction activities including hot work, confined space entry, lifting and rigging, LOTO, electrical work, and work at height
- Review construction methods, temporary works, and equipment layouts from a safety perspective
- Support constructability and Design-for-Safety (DfS) reviews
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems, and project safety standards
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Maintain safety documentation, records, and performance reports
- Provide safety guidance and technical support to project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel
- Support site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific safety training
- Assist during client audits, inspections, and HSE reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field
- 5 years of safety engineering or HSE experience within industrial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and risk assessment methodologies
- Experience with Permit-to-Work systems, LOTO, confined space entry, hot work, and work-at-height controls
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- CSP, ASP, NEBOSH, or equivalent professional safety certification
- Experience supporting EPC, semiconductor, utility, power, water treatment, or industrial construction projects
- Experience supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
- Experience working with subcontractors on large construction projects
