Job Title: Product Development Assistant

Location: North Brunswick, NJ

Job Type: Temporary (May to August)

Tuesday and Thursday only.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour break)

Pay rate: $25/hour

Job Description

Provide assistant support to ensure smooth progress of product development, including experiment support and data organization.

• No special chemical knowledge or skills are required.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and organizing experimental equipment, maintaining laboratory cleanliness, and handling laundry tasks
• Organizing items such as beakers, spatulas, stirring rods, hair swatches, wigs, and washed towels
• Assisting with sample filling and shipping tasks
• Creating labels, filling containers with shampoo and hair color products, packaging, and preparing shipping labels
• Hair color products will be used
• Data entry, photography, and assisting with simple equipment measurements
• Transcribing ingredient names, organizing photos, measuring pH, viscosity, color difference, and entering data into Excel
• Assisting with dyeing hair swatches and shampooing
• Measuring hair color products, dyeing, shampooing, drying hair swatches, creating mounting sheets, attaching and filing
• Hair color products will be used
• Creating hair swatches
• Bundling hair with rubber bands and trimming ends with scissors
• General administrative and operational support
• Supporting document preparation, printing, organizing, labeling, sorting tools, and checking inventory
