In this role, you will focus on expanding our client base and providing customized logistics solutions tailored to customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities by prospecting and developing relationships with potential customers.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their logistics needs.
- Develop and deliver tailored proposals and presentations to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to secure profitable deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of logistics services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
- Sales experience in international logistics services (preferred).
- If you do not have logistics sales experience, you must have B2B sales experience with a basic understanding of international logistics.
- Familiarity with Japanese business culture is a significant plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Strong ability to acquire new customers and build direct relationships with shippers or key decision-makers.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping processes is a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally for client meetings and industry events.
