Paraeducator - Transitional Kindergarten needed for the 2025-26school year. Various School Sites - 6.5 hours daily Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students; assist in the preparation of instructional materials; provide routine clerical support. Duties will be commensurate with demonstrated ability, training, education and experience.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: *High School Graduation or equivalent (required) Must meet ONE of the following requirements to qualify as a paraeducator: ~48 semester college units required (provide transcripts) ~Pass District Paraeducator Exam ~Certificate of Proficiency for Instructional Aides (NCLB certificate) ~College Associates degree or higher ** (NOTE: District Paraeducator exam is given every Thursday at 1 p.m. at the PRJUSD District Office)** EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of the general needs and behavior of children. Experience working in an educational setting (desired)
