General Description
JOIN OUR TEAM AS A TECHNICAL ANALYST II
The Technical Analyst II - Endpoint Computing assists in the further development of endpoint and communication solutions to aid in the efficient deployment of County technology and practices across various heterogeneous systems. This position reports to the manager in charge of the End User Computing team.
Essential Job Functions
The Technical Analyst II - Endpoint Computing is responsible for the installation, layout and maintenance of all endpoint/communications components.
Plans, designs, analyzes, and provides technical support for endpoint networking and communications. Additionally, this position works with advanced endpoint management and configuration solutions such as Microsoft Intune and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) to deploy software to County systems and cellular devices. Identifies and resolves production issues; following escalation and notification procedures; following change and problem management procedures; participating on project teams; keeping abreast of technology developments; providing after-hour support; researching and evaluating new technologies to be used in new or next generation solutions; providing status reports; and managing detailed project plans. Provides status reports giving detailed descriptions of tasks and time devoted to each task. Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and also push or pull heavy objects. Performs other related work as required.

PHYSICAL SKILLS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and also push or pull heavy objects. May use a handling device (dolly, cart, etc.) or work with another team member to lift and/or move excessively heavy objects. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication. Must be available to work a flexible work schedule and may need to report for duty after-hours, on weekends, and on holidays.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and two (2) years of experience in development and maintenance of systems operations OR graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate degree and four (4) years of experience in development and maintenance of systems operations and Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent technical certificate OR graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma and six (6) years of experience in development and maintenance of systems operations and Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent technical certificate. Experience in VOIP, Mobile device management and/or Microsoft Endpoint Management technologies preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Florida driver's license. Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent technical certificate is required, if the applicant does not have a Bachelor's Degree.

- Extensive knowledge of Unified Communication Systems/ Windows/ iOS/ Android platforms
- Knowledge and understanding of IP and subnets, SIP Trunks, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365 including Teams calling.
- Ability to use tools and utilities to help in support role.
- Ability to create support documentation such as phone configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Knowledge of support methodologies, standards, and procedures.
- Ability to work with vendors to troubleshoot any issues and/or request upgrades or new equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer services skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
