Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dragline Operator to join our dynamic mining team. All Dragline operational duties are performed in a work-safe manner while following all plant safety rules. The Dragline operator works as a team member.

This Dragline is a Manitowoc 4600 friction type within twin diesel engines. Dragline Operators are given primary responsibility of performing all underwater sand & lime rock extraction tasks to include site preparation with excavators and dozers when needed. This position requires all preventative maintenance tasks that pertain to the safe operations and upkeep of the dragline.

The Dragline Operator understands and complies with all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies to assure that safety, health, and environmental behaviors are the first priority of the business.

The Dragline extraction teams work sand & lime rock pits with a nominal extraction depth of 30'-65' and work within plant mobile equipment with a supervisor coordinating team activities. Tasks and equipment utilized are changed per requirements of plant needs; therefore, individuals must possess a variety of mining skillsets.

The Dragline Operator demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain Dragline mobile equipment.
• Works well in a team and a minimum supervised setting.
• Must have 5 years minimum experience in Dragline operations.
• Must be willing to work holidays, weekends, various shifts and overtime as directed.
• Demonstrated ability for positive contributions when working within teams.
• Must be willing to accept change and strive for improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to operate Dragline mobile equipment.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Previous welding, cutting experience a plus.
• Haul trucks, loaders, and various mine equipment experience preferred
• Part 48 MSHA training

The successful candidate must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitive and quantitative fit tests.
