JOIN OUR TEAM AS A TECHNICAL ANALYST I - END USER TECHNOLOGY
This position is part of the Operations and Support Services team. The position is responsible for providing technical support for all end-user technologies. It performs second level technical support for Pasco County’s production operations, creates and updates knowledge base articles, and images and deploys new equipment
- Ability to support software and productivity applications including MS 365, Adobe, and Team Calling.
- Ability to support User level OS for Windows 11 or higher.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues related to desktop computers, laptops, and printers.
- Ability to provide remote support.
- Ability to follow established standards and make suggestions for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
PHYSICAL SKILLS: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 LBS. and also push or pull heavy objects. May use a handling device (dolly, cart, etc.) or work with another team member to lift and/or move excessively heavy objects. Ability to operate a keyboard. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and two (2) years of experience in development and maintenance of systems operations OR graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate degree and four (4) years of experience in development and maintenance of systems operations and Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent technical certificate OR graduation from high school and six (6) years of experience in supporting end user technology.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Florida driver's license. Active industry recognized technical certifications, that require recertification, may be considered in lieu of an Associate degree.
