JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing highly diversified craft trade activities with a focus on
Carpentry under general supervision.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Previous experience and good working knowledge in all phases of the carpentry trade including drywall installation & finishing and door hardware.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or Vocational Degree from an accredited institution
- Two years’ experience of a skilled trade or general building maintenance
- OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position
- Valid and current Florida driver’s license
- Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver II Plan. Driver’s license must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of post- offer employment test (POET) - Drug Screening
