Network Technician

Summary: We’re seeking a skilled Network Technician to support and optimize our IT infrastructure across terminals, dispatch centers, and mobile environments. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in networking and a passion for cloud and AI technologies in the transportation and logistics space.

Major Duties:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues to ensure 24/7 uptime.
• Manage core network services: TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS.
• Integrate cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS) and AI tools for fleet and logistics optimization.
• Maintain cabling diagrams and network documentation.
• Collaborate with Helpdesk on escalated issues.
• Document incidents and system changes for compliance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.

Job Requirements/Work Area Conditions:

• Transportation software (e.g., McLeod Software, TMS, ELD systems).
• AI-based monitoring and automation platforms.
• Workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Fresh service).
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications: CompTIA A , Azure Administrator Associate.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and travel to remote sites occasionally.
• Experience with AI solutions in transportation/logistics.
• Hands-on experience with McLeod Software or similar TMS.
• Workflow design or scripting (PowerShell, Python, low-code platforms).

Special Skills: Technicians need to have excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. They also need to be good team players.
