- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
The Registered Nurse—Intensive Care Unit is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care Unit.
- Current valid NJ State professional Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
- PALS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Training
- Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, perform EKG, phlebotomy (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment)
- Ability to manage a patient’s airway including us of mechanical ventilation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Experience with Epic.
