Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle food products safely and efficiently, following proper food handling techniques
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management
- Participate in catering and banquet events as needed, providing excellent service and meal preparation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering environment. 2 to 3 years experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in fine dining or high-volume kitchens is preferred
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
