Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring high standards of presentation and service.
- Maintain knowledge of dietary restrictions and preferences to accommodate guest needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong culinary skills with experience in fine dining preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques.
- Experience with meal preparation, catering, and menu planning is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
