Role Description
This full-time, on-site Mental Health Therapist role is based in Glen Allen, VA. The therapist will provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups within the context of a structured treatment program. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, facilitating therapeutic sessions, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. The therapist will also document client progress, ensure compliance with clinical standards, and support clients in achieving their recovery goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning and creating individualized strategies for recovery.
- Experience in Social Work with knowledge of community resources and support systems.
- Expertise in Case Management for monitoring and coordinating client care.
- Strong understanding of Mental Health conditions and therapeutic interventions.
- Skilled in providing Family Therapy and supporting family systems in the recovery process.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Compassionate, culturally competent, and committed to fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
- Previous experience in an outpatient or multidisciplinary behavioral health setting is preferred.
