In this role, you'll provide vital support to veterinarians, deliver top-notch patient care, and help clients navigate urgent medical needs with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform essential technical duties such as:
• IV catheter placement, monitoring and caring for hospitalized patients, administering medications and fluids.
• Assist with anesthesia monitoring and recovery during surgical procedures
• Collecting samples for diagnostics (e.g., blood, urine, cytology).
• Radiography and laboratory analysis.
• Triage patients and provide initial assessments.
• Educate and support clients regarding pet health and post-visit care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with practice standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active and current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in California is required
• Previous experience in a general practice, urgent care and/or emergency setting is a plus
• Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  
  

Schedule

• 40 hours/ week- (4 day a week work schedule/10 hr shifts)
  
  

Salary

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($28-32/hr)

Salary: $28 - $32 Hourly
