This position is in Pasadena, MDForklift Mechanic – Pasadena, MDSchedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PMSummary:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Technician to join our Pasadena team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of forklifts and material handling equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure all repairs meet company and OSHA safety standards.Responsibilities:Diagnose equipment malfunctions on forklifts and other material handling equipment that are broken down or not operating to company standards.Perform comprehensive repairs including brakes, hydraulics, fuel systems, transmissions, engines, and electrical systems.Conduct routine and preventative maintenance checks to ensure customer compliance with OSHA and company standards.Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding service updates and equipment status.Requirements:Active driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).6 Years of Extensive experience working on forklift repairs, including hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.Basic knowledge of LP (liquid propane) systems and electrical components.Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.Self-starter with excellent time management and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
