Job Summary
Pilates Instructor for small group classes.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Certified Pilates Instructor to join our newly opening boutique Pilates Studio. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, technique, precision and overall wellness; be knowledgeable, meticulous, attentive, and fluid. You will provide motivational and engaging classes (group or private) of varying levels and types, for clients of varying needs and abilities; therefore having an outstanding knowledge of your craft, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to details, are essential.
Duties
- Guide a group (of up to 10) or private sessions
- Clear and easily understandable instructions, progression and modification options
- Attention to class flow and individual movements to make corrections when needed
- Create engaging and refreshing class programs, contemporary touch to classical
- Inspire and encourage a continuous drive for progress
- Collaborate with the team
- Ensure the studio's condition remains pristine, and everything organized and ready for each session.
Experience
- Mat & Reformer, preferably Comprehensive Certificatation
- Experience teaching group and private classes, and program design
- Strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and contrology
- Outstanding communication skills, clear and concise delivery of instructions and explanations
- Passion for health, fitness, and overall wellness; educating, inspiring, and motivating
- Excellent attention to detail and safety; proactive and able to do hands on corrections
- Creative, collaborative, informed on contemporary wellness and fitness trends
- Aspiration for excellence and growth
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $ $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
