Golf Sales, Club Fitting, Repair & Operations Specialist

ParWest Golf is looking for a dependable, golf-knowledgeable person to join our Portland store. This is a hands-on position combining customer service, golf-equipment sales, club fitting and repair, online-order fulfillment, and general store operations.

Advanced fitting or club-building experience is preferred, but we will train the right person who has strong golf knowledge, mechanical ability, attention to detail, and excellent customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers select golf equipment and complete purchases
• Answer customer phone calls and emails
• Assist with club fitting and learn to operate our GCQuad launch monitor
• Install grips and perform basic club assembly and repairs
• Process, pack, and ship Shopify orders accurately
• Receive merchandise and maintain inventory
• Create and update Shopify products, variants, and SKUs
• Handle returns, special orders, and vendor shipments
• Keep the sales floor, workshop, and shipping areas organized
• Assist with opening, closing, and other daily store operations

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of golf and golf equipment
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with customers
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable using computers and learning Shopify
• Able to safely lift and move merchandise
• Willing to learn club fitting, club repair, and online retail operations
• Retail, club-fitting, repair, Shopify, or shipping experience is helpful but not required

Schedule

• Approximately 35–42 hours per week
• Store hours are Monday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Most Saturdays are required, with the possibility of rotating Saturdays
• Some paid work may occur before or after store hours for shipping, receiving, inventory, repairs, opening, or closing

Compensation

• $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience
• Additional Saturday and performance-based compensation may be available

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
