Construction Worker/Carpenter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man and carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and functional. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various tasks efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall upkeep and improvement of facilities.

Duties

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify issues that require attention or repair.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or management, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after use.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects or repairs as needed.
• Document completed work and report any additional issues or concerns to management.

Experience

• Proven experience in maintenance or maintenance person roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with various tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and accountability in all tasks performed.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
