Job Summary:

We are seeking hardworking, reliable, and physically capable individuals to join our crew as Tent Installers at Party Time Events. This role involves the delivery, setup, and breakdown of event tents and related equipment from our Marshall, MI location. You'll work outdoors as part of a team to ensure events are set up safely, correctly, and efficiently. This is a physically demanding job that requires teamwork and a positive attitude. Starting pay is $15 per hour. A chauffeur's license is preferred.

This position starts as Part-Time, primarily during our busy season from mid-May through November, with strong potential for advancement to Full-Time for motivated and high-performing individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload tents, poles, stakes, weights, flooring, lighting, and other event equipment onto trucks at our Marshall warehouse.
• Travel to various event locations within our service area.
• Assist in the safe installation and setup of various types of tents (pole tents, frame tents, structures) according to plans and instructions.
• Install accessories such as sidewalls, lighting, heaters, fans, and flooring as needed.
• Secure tents properly using stakes or weights.
• Dismantle tents and equipment carefully after events.
• Clean, maintain, and organize equipment back at the warehouse (315 Woolley Drive, Suite B, Marshall, MI).
• Work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with crew leaders and occasionally clients.

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including repeatedly lifting 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and kneel for long durations.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, especially during peak season (mid-May through November).
• Ability to follow directions and work well within a team environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in construction, roofing, landscaping, general labor, or event setup is a plus, but not required – we will train motivated candidates!
• Reliable transportation to our warehouse located at 315 Woolley Drive, Suite B, Marshall, Michigan 49068.
• Valid Chauffeur's license is strongly preferred. A standard driver's license with a clean driving record is also beneficial.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
