We are a full service family owned and operated balloon and party retail store. Looking for reliable, creative and dedicated team members to add to our staff.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on product features and benefits to enhance their shopping experience
- Process cash transactions accurately, including cash drawer handling, retail math calculations, and cash management procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stock shelves, and ensure product displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Use retail software and data entry systems to record sales, update inventory levels, and process customer requests efficiently
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds while adhering to store policies and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Support team members with daily store operations such as processing cash transactions, balancing registers, and managing the cash drawer
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or retail store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and balancing registers
- Experience with financial software or point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently using 10 key typing skills
- Knowledge of banking or financial services including loan processing or collection procedures is advantageous
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask effectively
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
