Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product handling, and Recommendations
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
- Conduct stock replenishment and assist in inventory management to keep the store inviting and well-stocked
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support team members in supervising store operations when needed, including training new associates or managing checkout lines during busy periods
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar retail environments
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions and inventory counts
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service with strong communication skills
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demonstrations is highly valued
