Job Title: IT Technician
We are looking for an IT Technician with a solid working knowledge of computer systems and networks to help us maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our IT infrastructure. You will assist in setting up and maintaining computer systems, provide support to users, and ensure the security and efficiency of our technology environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hardware and software, strong troubleshooting skills, and a keen eye for detail. You should be comfortable working independently and supporting team members with technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.)
- Check computer hardware (HDDs, mice, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality
- Install and configure software and system functions according to specifications
- Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Guide users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Schedule and carry out upgrades and maintenance with minimal disruption
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues (repair or replace parts, debug software, etc.)
- Keep records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance activities
- Identify equipment shortages and assist with procurement
Skills & Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and network systems
- Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Familiarity with internet security and data privacy principles
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified IT Professional are a plus but not required
Formal education and prior experience are not required. Candidates should demonstrate practical understanding and ability to perform the duties listed above.

Base Pay: From $20.00 per hour
